I introduced some of my work at the 'Problems of ... Individual Emergence' conference in April 2001, with a view to discussing the issue of image based aid for the individual who wishes to emerge.
This website, based on my presentation, is part of my online research database. (details of which can be found under 'references & links' above.)
I believe that the emergence of the individual can only take place when that individual recognises that they may be trapped in a situation preventing their growth.
What this site offers are images and animations designed to investigate promotion of that recognition.
My working title 'Towards a visualisation of key concepts relating to the etiology, effect and therapy of paradoxical communication within relationships which are or have become abusive', although rather lengthy, outlines my intention to provide a self-aid product aimed specifically at people within abusive relationships. Relationships which are preventing their growth or emergence.
This product will be highly image orientated and will attempt to prompt recognition of the causes and effects of damaging patterns of relating, whilst also aiming to offer an alternative to those patterns
