Portsmouth Harbour

Portsmouth Harbour is located on the south coast of England in a region known as The Solent.  The map below indicates the Harbour's location in relation to the United Kingdom.  You can click on the Solent region to display a larger map of the Study area.

Portsmouth Harbour is one of three large harbours on the northern shore of the Eastern Solent.Chichester Harbour is the eastern most of the harbours with Langstone Harbour situated between Hayling Island and Portsea Island and Portsmouth Harbour itself located between the City of Portsmouth on its eastern shore and Gosport to the west. At the north of the Harbour is the village of Portchester and in the North east corner of the Harbour is the town of Fareham.
